Our cart use Address Verification and also CVV2 ( Security Code Verification)

Here are some common questions we get.

What is Address Verification System (AVS) ?

This is a system that check the address you entered as your billing address againt the address your credit card company as on file.

Why do you require it?

We require it because we want to make sure the person placing the order is the cardholder.
This help minimize the risk of unknowingly accepting a counterfeit card or being a victim of fraud.
This is for your protection as well as ours.

What should I do if my order was declined because the address provided does not match that of the cardholder?

Call you credit card company and tell them you placed an order and it was declined you want to make sure they have correct your address.
They will check the order and see it was accepted. Yes it will appear that it did approve on there end.
Credit card companies only approve or disapprove orders based on the card number, expiration date.  
If your address is correct with them send us an email giving us you correct and we will process your order manually for you.

What is a Security Code ( CVV2 code )?

CVV2 a picture is worth a thousand words see this page please.
CVV2 provides a security feature for "card not present" transactions. It is
a three or four digit value which provides the payment processor with a
cryptographic check of the card's authenticity. CVV2 stands for "Card
Verification Value 2", CVC2. American Express, the code is a four digit
number on the front of the card above the account number. For Visa,
MasterCard and Discover the code is a three digit number that appears at the
end of the account number(if present) on the back of the card.

Why do we require the CVV2 code?

The customer has the credit card in his/her possession. The card account is
legitimate. CVV2 is printed only on the card - it is not contained in the
magnetic stripe information, nor does it appear on sales receipts or
statements. Using the CVV2 value can help minimize the risk of unknowingly
accepting a counterfeit card or being a victim of fraud.  But most important
Visa , MC and Discover requires us to do so. If we don't we have to pay a
extra charge for each transaction.

We are in business to sell our products, we want you to buy our products but
we must operate within the credit card rules and regulations.
When you enter the cvv2 code, our processor approves or
disapproves the charge based on the information you provide.
Our cart will decline the order if the CVV2 code does not match, this is for
your protection.

I entered my security code and the order was declined?

You order was declined because you entered 6 numbers for the cvv2 code "card code"  we only need the last 3 digits.
Sometime the code on the card is wrong. If you entered the correct number and it was declined call you card company.
